Who should not undergo a DiamondGlow® treatment?
The DiamondGlow® treatment is not for everyone. You should not undergo treatment if you have compromised skin quality in the treatment area, including but not limited to open wounds, active acne, cold sores, herpetic ulcers, or sunburned or windburned skin.
What precautions should I take before my treatment?
Prior to your session, tell your provider if you are pregnant, lactating, have active medical conditions, allergies, or are currently using any topical prescription medications on the area to be treated.
What does the treatment feel like, and are there any side effects?
Typical side effects include a temporary stinging or scratchy sensation during the treatment, and mild tightness, redness, or slight swelling post-treatment. Severe skin irritation is rare. Following your treatment, you should use an SPF 30 or higher sunscreen and protect your skin from direct sun exposure.
