Botox Cosmetic
- Smooths lines in the forehead, between the eyebrows, and in the crow’s feet area.
- Treatments can last for at least three months, but results vary from patient to patient.
Dysport
- Treats frown lines between the eyes, crow’s feet, and forehead lines.
- Dysport contains smaller molecules than Botox, leading to faster results. Facial changes may appear in three days versus Botox’s average of seven.
- Useful for larger treatment areas.
Xeomin
- Most effective in treating frown lines. Depending on your individual body makeup one product may work better than another.
- Includes no additives, resulting in less risk of your body forming resistant antibodies.
- Initial results within the first three to four days following treatment. Xeomin lasts about as long as the other wrinkle relaxers do.
Jeuveau
- Treats crow’s feet, between the eyes and forehead lines.
- Initial results within the first couple of days and lasts about the same amount of time as the other relaxers.

Who is a good candidate for wrinkle relaxers like Botox and Dysport?
Adults who want to smooth expression lines caused by facial movement, like frown lines between the brows, forehead creases, and crow's feet around the eyes, are great candidates. Many people also start in their twenties or thirties to prevent lines from setting into the skin. Wrinkle relaxers are not recommended if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a neuromuscular condition.
What does the injection feel like during treatment?
Injections take about 10 to 15 minutes and use a tiny needle. Most people feel only a quick pinch like a mosquito bite. We can also apply numbing cream or an ice pack beforehand if you prefer.
What is the expected recovery time and downtime?
There is virtually no downtime. You might see small, mosquito-bite-like bumps at the injection spots, but these usually fade within 20 to 30 minutes as the liquid settles. You can go straight back to work and your daily routine.
When do results appear, and how long do they last?
You will usually start seeing smoothing within 2 to 4 days with Dysport and 3 to 7 days with Botox, with full results visible at two weeks. Results generally last 3 to 4 months. Regular treatments keep muscles relaxed and prevent lines from deepening over time.
What aftercare guidelines should I follow after my appointment?
Stay upright for at least 4 hours after your visit. Do not rub or press on treated areas for 24 hours so the product stays exactly where it was placed. Hold off on heavy workouts, saunas, and intense heat until the next day.
Can wrinkle relaxers treat areas beyond forehead lines and crow's feet?
